The design of this undershirt has two different layers of material “bonded” together each providing the wearer with special features that ensure comfort within different working environmental conditions. This undershirt offers extreme body comfort by providing:

  • Activated Charcoal to help eliminate body odor
  • Aggressive Moisture wicking to help in moisture (sweat) management by being able to rapidly move the moisture to the outer layer where is can evaporate, helping the body to stay dryer.
  • The special composite of the inner layer can rapidly accumulate heat so that if the working environment feels cool/cold to the wearer the undershirt will rapidly make the wearer feel warmer. If the working environment is warm the composite layers will provide a cooling effect to the wearer.
  • The fabric is lightweight, has a soft feel to it and does not stick to the body allowing the wearer to quickly forget that they are wearing an undershirt.
  • The undershirt does provide some UV protection as an added feature.
  • The undershirt is designed to fit under most uniform tops with shorter sleeve lengths and a V-neck so it does not show.

All clothing inherently has a thermal resistance associated with it and is defined as a Clo. A zero Clo unit is associated with the naked skin while a typical men’s business suit has a value of 1 Clo, and shirts are usually 0.5 to 1.1 Clo. These values are based on a sitting or resting situation at a temperature of 70° F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity. The inner layer of material in BODY IN COMFORT helps to insulates up to 3.2 Clo while the outer layer helps to “cool” a wearer down if they become too warm.

People feel differently in the same environmental conditions and this is defined as human thermal comfort. The BODY IN COMFORT undershirt helps the wearer to maintain a comfortable feeling in different environmental settings
